Trading apps
A crypto trading app, sometimes called a trading terminal, puts a token feed, a wallet it creates for you, and a buy button on one screen, then routes each trade through public liquidity pools or a perpetual DEX. This page compares 3 of them on what each trade costs, whether they ask who you are, country restrictions, markets, leverage, and how money gets in and out.

Published base rates before discounts, for the account and market in each scope. Funding, spread, price impact, and transfer costs are separate. Restriction counts come from published terms and are not exhaustive. How we compare
Trading app volume
30 days of trading volume from DefiLlama, refreshed every 4 hours.
How to choose
One rate per trade
These apps take a flat cut of every buy and sell instead of maker and taker rates. Network fees, the spread and price impact of the pool a trade routes through, and any perps venue's own schedule sit on top.
Card funding brings the checks
Paying by card or Apple Pay goes through a payment partner with its own identity checks and country rules, separate from the app's terms. Read both before you pick a funding route.
Check the way out first
The app creates a wallet for you at sign-up. Before funding it, find out whether you can export the key, what a withdrawal costs, and whether a perps mode keeps its balance somewhere separate.

Questions about trading apps
Which crypto trading app is best?
No single one suits everyone. It depends on what you trade, how you want to pay in, and whether your country is excluded. What each is best for, in our assessment:
- Fomo: Buying tokens across Solana, Base, and other chains from one phone app funded by card or Apple Pay, and watching what other traders buy.
- Axiom: Trading new Solana tokens from a desktop browser with fast fills, limit orders, and wallet tracking on one screen, then hedging on Hyperliquid perps without leaving it.
- GMGN: Copy-trading smart-money wallets and automating memecoin entries and exits across Solana, BNB Chain, Base, and other chains, from a browser, a phone, or Telegram.

How is a trading app different from a perpetual DEX?
A trading app bundles a wallet, a token feed, and a buy button, and routes each trade through other venues: public liquidity pools for spot, and a perpetuals exchange for leverage. A perpetual DEX is that exchange itself. You bring your own wallet, and it runs the order book or the pool.
Does a per-trade fee include everything?
No. Network fees, the spread and price impact of the pool a trade routes through, and a perps venue's own fees sit on top. Card purchases add the payment partner's fee, and a quoted rate only covers the mode in its scope.
