Privacy
What ChainScouter collects, where it goes, and what it does not collect.
Browsing
You do not need an account or a wallet connection. The country you pick stays in your browser tab and is forgotten when you reload or close it. We do not use your IP address to pick a country, hide products, or change the order they appear in.
Page views
We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which runs on this site's own domain. For each view it records the time, the page address with some query parameters (such as a ref tag), the referring site, the browser, operating system, and device type, and an approximate location down to city. It sets no cookies, and Vercel says the data is anonymized and not tied to an IP address. Visits are grouped by a hash of request data that resets every day, so they cannot be linked across days or across sites. Browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are not counted.
Usage events
When you compare two products or follow a link to a product's site, the site sends the event type and the product names to its own server. These events do not include your country choice, a wallet address, an account identifier, or search text. They are written to the request logs of our hosting provider, Vercel, which keeps them for a limited time under its plan limits. They are not copied elsewhere or sent to an analytics or advertising service. Browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control send no events.
Connection data
Serving a website involves connection metadata such as IP addresses and request headers. Vercel processes and logs these under its own privacy policy. ChainScouter sets no cookies of its own and keeps no visitor profile.
Other websites
Following a source or product link takes you to another provider, whose privacy policy and referral tracking apply. Read it before submitting information or connecting a wallet.
Changes
If we collect anything else, this page will say so before it starts.
